The Neighbourhood and Further Afield

We live within easy walking distance of the unique historic town centre of Lewes with its Norman Castle and medieval town centre. There are lots of pubs, cafes and shops as well as supermarkets and excellent transport links. We are well placed for lovely country walks, including the South Downs Way, and river Ouse. Glyndebourne is literally the other side of the hill - just ten minutes drive. There are beaches not far away at Seaford and Brighton, Birling Gap etc. You can simply stroll around town finding interesting things to do and see whilst looking at beautiful views of the chalk cliffs and downs that surround the town.

This is a great area to take a break: on some days there is almost too much to do.

There are trains to Brighton 15mins with the famous
boho lanes, Gatwick 35mins and London 1 hour 5mins. Newhaven ferry is nearby.

There’s always stuff going on during the day and the evening with plenty of pubs and venues in town.
Viva Lewes has a great guide to what’s on locally.

The surrounding countryside of The South Downs National park is lovely for walking, running, riding and biking.

Please book in and come and enjoy a relaxing break. Further Information:
